The story of Hercules began when he was born. His mother was Alcmena and his father was the god Zeus . They had children including Hercules. But after Zeus realized that Hercules was a demigod and that Zeus could be taken over. So, to protect his power Zeus sends two serpants to kill Hercules. But even when he was a mere baby he was the strongest of the Demigods and he had to be contained so he woud not destroy all of Greece. In Hercules mid- life he had many labors from the god Hera. Hera made him go mad so he killed their children . The twelve labors of Hercules were the lion, hidra, hind, boers stables, the birds, the bull, the horses, the belt, the cattle,the apples, and the cerberus. The description of the twelve labors were not always twelve. They were ten at one time. Until Hera changed it to twelve. She thought that he was cheating on her.The family was not always so unsetteld. The family was peaceful through most of his life. |
