Hera was the queen of Olympus. She was the very jealous wife of Zeus. She was always catching him as he went down to earth to marry mortal women. She was so jealous when Alcmena and Zeus had Hercules that she sent snakes to kill him. In Hercules mid-life, she also got involved because he was cheating with a woman that was not his wife. This is why she gave him twelve labors. |
